Mining in the Great Basin has been an important part of Northern Nevada's heritage since the 1800s. Visitors will enjoy a tour of our mine replica building, complete with mine shaft slides for the kids and hands-on gold panning troughs. Come discover the history of mining that makes our area the jewel of the Comstock!
