Enter the amazing world of backyard creatures and see how big the world can be in your own backyard at the Snakes, Bugs and other Backyard Monsters live nature exhibit opening March 8, 2008. Visitors will need to think like a bug and act like a bug as they see what the world looks like through a bug’s eye with help from a 12-foot animatronic praying mantis, giant scorpion, dragonfly and dueling Carpenter Ants. Live Snake Room: Animal handler Mace Loftus of Animals for Art returns to the museum for this exhibit helping to introduce visitors to a variety of live snakes and share his knowledge and insights about their world. Exhibit will be on display from March 8th - June 15th.
